2017 Tax Installment Due Dates:    August 30th and November 15th

Real Estate Property Taxes

Tax bills are mailed annually.  You can expect to see a bill around the middle of June, although that date does fluctuate from year to year.  The property taxes are due in two installments, on or around July 15th (we will give you at least 30 days AFTER commitment) and November 15th.  Check your bill for more information, or contact the town office staff at (207) 566-5551 ext. 1.

PLEASE NOTE: You will only receive one bill per year.  The bill will have two tear off coupons at the bottom to submit with your payments.

This bill covers the Town’s fiscal year which runs January 1 to December 31.

Payments may be made in person or by mail addressed to: Town of Embden , 809 Embden Pond Road, Embden, ME 04958 , and payable to the “Town of Embden.” If paying by mail, please enclose the payment stub from the tax bill, or as much information as possible on the account (account #, address, map/lot number, etc.). If requesting a receipt, enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Any taxes not paid by close-of-business at year end will be listed in the annual Town Report.

Property Tax information is available at the Town Office.

Please call 207-566-5551 ext.4 if you have any questions regarding your tax bill, or if you need to confirm or update your billing information.
