Burn Permits
Burn permits for the Town of Embden can now be obtained online for free at https://www.wardensreport.com.
*Weekday permits will not be available until after 5 pm.
**Weekend permits will not be available until after 9 am.
Please read the terms and conditions
- You must be at least 18 years of age to obtain an Open Burning permit.
- It is illegal to burn without a permit in the State of Maine.
- A copy of the permit must always be in hand during open burning (screen shots will be accepted).
- If the fire department receives any type of complaint about the burning, we are obligated to investigate and may potentially extinguish fire.
- All fires must be extinguished on the permitted date and by the end time listed on the permit.
- You may not start a fire with any type of accelerant.
