The Town Office will be closed on Monday July 6^th and 13^th.

Tuesday July 7^th and 14^th open 10am-4pm.

Wednesday July 8^th and 15^th 10am-4pm.

Thursday July 9^th and 16^th 1pm – 6pm.

Friday July 10^th and 17^th 10am – 2pm.

Apologies for the inconvenience. The Clerk is on vacation.

The Town Office will close be Friday July 3^rd in observance of Independence Day.

The Town Office will be closed Friday June 19^th in observance of Juneteenth.

 The Town Office will also be closed Monday June 22.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
To hear the proposed solar array application on the
Kennebec River Road in Embden
At the Embden Community Center
Thursday, June 18, 2026 @ 6:30 p.m.

Citizens of the Town of Embden,

This serves as the legal notice posting for a public hearing regarding a solar array proposed by Embden Solar, LLC on Kennebec River Road pursuant to the Town of Embden’s solar array ordinance Section 5, subsection 4 & 5 as follows:

4. A public hearing shall be held prior to the issuance of any permit by the Planning Board. The developer and/or landowner shall notify all abutting landowners of the public hearing by certified mail, return receipt requested.
5. An array shall not be constructed until the Solar Array Complex plan has been approved by the Planning Board and a Building Permit has been issued by the Planning Board and a Building Permit has been issued by the Planning Board and any applicable appeal period having passed without an appeal being filed.
