This serves as the legal notice posting for a public hearing regarding the proposed Special Town Meeting on August 18, 2022
The Ordinances that will be discussed are the following.
-Town of Embden Minimum Standards Ordinance for Buildings, Structures, and Areas.
-Town of Embden’s floodplain management Ordinance
-Town of Embden’s Shoreland Zoning Ordinance dated June 13, 2018, Section 15. Q. Hazard Trees, Storm-Damaged Trees, Dead Tree Removal
-Town of Embden’s Shoreland Zoning Ordinance dated June 13, 2018, Section 15. V. Water Quality

The Town of Embden has an opening on the School Board. If you are interested please stop by the Town Office for an application. This application can also be found on our website.
Please have applications turned in by July 20th at 4pm.

2022 Annual Embden Town Meeting
Municipal Elections will be held Friday, March 4th at the Embden Town Office from 10 am – 6 pm.
Absentee Ballots are avalible at the Town Office.
Open Town Meeting will be held Saturday, March 5th at the Embden Community Center at 10 am.
